ORDO / Full London Coverage

Understand the scope behind the installation price.

Two kitchens with a similar number of cabinets can need different amounts of work. A useful price starts with an agreed specification, not a headline figure.

An enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Installer availability and the final scope are checked individually.

Why there is no single installation price

Cabinet quantities matter, but so do room condition, layout, finishing details, access and the related trades. ORDO does not publish an unverified fixed price for every London kitchen. Your installer assesses the project and supplies its own written quotation.

The main cost factors

  • Cabinet type, quantity, layout, assembly requirements and finishing details.
  • Removal and disposal of an existing kitchen.
  • Preparation, levelling, repairs and making good.
  • Worktop material and whether fitting or a separate specialist process is needed.
  • Plumbing and electrical work, especially when positions change.
  • Appliance requirements, access, delivery arrangements and working constraints.

Full installation and dry fit are different starting points

A dry fit enquiry focuses on cabinet fitting, with connections clarified separately. A full installation enquiry can involve a wider scope. Neither label tells you exactly what a particular quotation includes.

Compare quotations on the same basis

Check whether each quote covers the same tasks and materials, and whether VAT, disposal, connections and making good are included where relevant. Ask for exclusions and provisional items to be explained. A lower headline figure may describe less work.

Plan for changes without agreeing a blank cheque

Ask how unforeseen work or a customer-requested change will be assessed and priced. Agree variations before extra work proceeds, and record any effect on the timetable.

Prepare for a useful quote

Have your latest plan, order, appliance details and access information ready. Use the pre-fit checklist to identify questions that should be resolved at the property.
