ORDO / Full London Coverage

Prepare the project before the fitting starts.

A clear installation plan is more than a cabinet drawing. It connects the room, the supplied kitchen and the work needed to bring them together.

An enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Installer availability and the final scope are checked individually.

Keep one current set of plans

Use the latest layout and itemised order. If your supplier changes a cabinet, appliance or worktop, make sure the installer sees the update. Outdated drawings can lead to different assumptions about the job.

Separate supply from installation

Write down what your kitchen supplier is delivering and what the installer is expected to do. Check responsibility for missing or damaged items, appliance specifications, worktops and any supplier-specific fitting requirements.

Build a room-readiness checklist

  • What must be removed, prepared or made good before fitting?
  • Are service positions staying the same or changing?
  • Who is arranging specialist trades and any separate worktop process?
  • How will materials arrive, be stored and move through the property?
  • Who is available to answer questions or approve changes?

Agree the scope in writing

Check inclusions, exclusions, price, payment stages and dates. A label such as full installation or dry fit is less useful than an itemised scope. See what affects an installation quotation.

Allow the sequence to be checked

Delivery, room preparation, cabinet fitting, connections and specialist work may not happen on the same day. Ask the installer how your particular project should be sequenced rather than assuming a standard duration.

Plan the handover

Before the work begins, discuss how completion, outstanding items and any snagging will be recorded. Keep the quotation and any approved variations together. A useful handover makes responsibilities clear.

Questions people ask

Can I enquire before ordering? Yes. Tell us that you have a plan or are still planning; your stage helps shape the conversation.

Does the form book an installer? No. ORDO reviews the enquiry before discussing an introduction and availability.

Do I pay ORDO for installation? You contract with and pay the installer directly. ORDO earns installer-paid commission.
