ORDO / Full London Coverage

Dry fit kitchen installation. A focused fitting scope.

For projects where cabinet fitting is the main requirement, make the boundaries of the job clear before you agree a price.

An enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Installer availability and the final scope are checked individually.

What does dry fit mean here?

On ORDO, dry fit describes a fitting-focused enquiry for kitchen cabinets, without assuming plumbing or electrical connections are included. Installers may use the term differently, so agree the actual tasks in the written quotation.

Confirm the fitting details

  • Which base, wall, tall and corner cabinets need fitting.
  • Whether panels, fillers, plinths, handles and appliance housings are included.
  • Whether worktops, cut-outs, sinks or appliances need positioning or fitting.
  • Who is responsible for connections, testing, specialist work and making good.
  • Whether the room will be cleared and prepared before the fitter arrives.

Worktops and appliances need particular clarity

Do not assume that all worktop work or appliance installation comes with cabinet fitting. Stone worktops can involve a separate specialist process. Plumbing and electrical connections may need separately arranged trades. Ask your installer what it will do and what must be completed by someone else.

Why a room check still matters

A dry fit is not a substitute for checking the property. Wall condition, levels, room dimensions, service positions and access can affect fitting. The pre-fit visit is the time to resolve differences between the plan and the room.

Full London Coverage

Send your London postcode, current kitchen stage and preferred timing. ORDO reviews the enquiry before discussing a suitable introduction. If related work makes the scope more extensive, we can clarify whether a full installation enquiry is the better route.

Before you book

Ask for a written list of inclusions and exclusions, the fitter’s expectations for room readiness, and a process for approving changes. You contract with and pay the installer directly.
